The ic ceiling speakers from PRO are designed to mount into cutouts in existing ceilings or can be easily accommodated in new construction using PRO pre-construction brackets. Models with the “ic” designation are open-back design and are less than 4” deep, so they can be used in standard 2” x 4” wall construction or where height above the ceiling surface is limited. “ic-E” models include a built-in enclosure for greater sound isolation and higher maximum SPL and and are 7” deep.
